Bourbon Fried Chicken

One Whole Chicken 1 and 1/2 cups of bourbon, two cups of flour, two teaspoons of salt, one teaspoon of white pepper, and one teaspoon of paprika, one teaspoon of onion powder and 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, and two cups of canola oil.


Cut up chicken and remove skin. Rinse in water. Put canola oil in thick frying pan and start to heat on medium burner. Make two bowls, one with the bouron in it and another with the four salt, white pepper, paprika, onion powder and garlic powder mixed well together. First place wet chicken in flour mixture, then bourbon, then flour again. Put immediately in hot canola oil. cover and let cook for 30 minutes on one side. Then turn and let cook for 15 minutes on the other side. Drain on paper towels. This chicken has the best flavor of all.
